Job
Summary:
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on equipment as prescribed in Customer PM Agreements with a focus on customer satisfaction and maximizing profits to the dealership.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Ensure compliance with Nortrax Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
o Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment in the field;
o Project a positive and professional attitude in dealing with customers;
o Maintenance and care of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles if required;
o Maintain a clean work vehicle and perform miscellaneous duties associated with the job;
o Perform road service or in-shop work as required;
o Maintain good lines of communication with inside service staff (and CSA's);
o Keep accurate records.
Health and Safety:
It is our expectation that all Nortrax Employees will conduct their work in a safe manner, abide by all Nortrax safety policies and report all hazardous conditions and unsafe work procedures.
Working Conditions:
Although much of time will be situated in a field/shop environment, occasional travel to other branches may be required.
Minimum Skills and
Qualifications:
o Licensed heavy equipment technician or completed college apprenticeship program
o Valid Class D driver's license
o Must be thoroughly familiar with tractors and equipment;
o The work done by this technician is not fully supervised; therefore, the technician must know the detailed construction of many products in order to determine the work required and must have the skill and knowledge to perform such work properly;
o Team player with drive to provide customer satisfaction;
o Excellent written and oral communication skills;
o Dynamic personality, self driven with high initiative and integrity;
o Computer skills;
o Ability to work independently, problem solve and prioritize;

o Must have flexible hours, weekend work required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
