Home Care Aide - Escanaba

The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort. To promote the maintenance and rehabilitation, if applicable, of the patient and to facilitate a safe home environment. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. This requires that the individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED.
State license as a certified nurse aide (CNA).
CPR certification
Demonstrates ability to work independently and execute own workload.
Must be able to use and operate medical and/or office equipment, including Point of Care devices.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
Able to carry out instructions & execute assignments independently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
