Maintenance Manager

Job Description This position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the maintenance department as assigned. The qualified candidate will ensure that the maintenance department provides safe, efficient, precise, and quality workmanship to the Verso Escanaba Mill. Key Accountabilities: Promote a safe work environment Know, support, live, and protect the Verso Foundation Document by walking the talk through daily behaviors Lead area maintenance supervisors to increase effectiveness of crews Lead area maintenance planners to improve safe and effective planned work Develop and enforce expectations for the betterment of the Mill Support and promote reliability and R-Gap closure, RCFA process and serve as a technical resource Identify and develop training to promote development of personnel Ensure effective use of maintenance resources Ensure compliance programs are executed in a cost effective and timely manner Lead implementation of the Reliability Roadmap elements, Black Book Best Practices, and Manufacturing Work Systems (MWS) Ensure repair jobs are developed and executed on time and within budget. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
